If you want to get pierced your body, you must have known about the rules and procedures of the body modification. There are different methods of body modifications such as tattoos, piercings, implants, scarring or branding.

Human Branding

The most popular type of body modification is tattooing. It is done by injecting ink into the skin with a machine. It uses a needle to push the ink into the body. Tattoos last for lifetime, but it can be faded if the quality of ink is poor.

Piercings are another popular form of modification which is done by piercing into the skin with the help of a needle. When the needle is pushed into the skin a piece of object or jewelry is attached into the skin. There are different types of piercings like ear piercing, nose piercing, lip and tongue piercing, nipple and genital piercing.

Ear piercing is the insertion of any object or metal into the earlobe or any other parts of the ear. Piercing can be done through earlobe, rook,

Tragus and helix.

Nose piercings are done in nostril of the nose. It can also be performed in the septum and bridge.

Branding

Lip piercing is the penetrating of the upper or lower part of the lip.

Tongue piercing is performed by inserting a barbell vertically into the tongue.

Nipple piercing increases the sexual arousement which can be done from any angle. But horizontally is more preferable.

Genital piercing can be done by both men and women. It is done by piercing a part of the genitalia.

Scaring or branding is another method that is applied to produce a scar or spot in specific design and shape. It is performed by burning of the skin in a controlled way. The design or shape can be made in any parts of the body. There is a chance of getting infected by this method. This type of body modification is very painful.

Implants are performed by the insertion of a device under the skin to make a different shape of the skin. One of the most popular implants is brain implants or neural implants. These implants are usually placed on the surface of the brain or attached to the brain’s cortex. Another type of implants has become popular that is horn implants. Two small pieces of Teflon are placed under the skin. It is done to make the appearance of horns.
